Public Reading of the Bhagavad Gita

What’s happening?  The Bhagavad Gita is a 700 verse Sanskrit poem –  the best known and most translated Hindu text. The narrative is set in a dialogue between the prince Arjuna and his charioteer Lord Krishna. We will be visiting to listen to members of ISKCON Wales in Cardiff introduce the Bhavagad Gita in Sanskrit. It is an annual event. After there will be food, discussion, and a Welsh bardic musical response from the stunning music group Bragod as the Landscapes of Faith project takes part in this cultural treasure hunt in the capital city of Wales.

SCHEDULE
4 PM – Musical mantra meditation

4:30 PM – Bhagavad-Gita Presentation
5 PM – explorations with Landscapes of Faith & bardic response by Bragod
6 PM – Traditional temple ceremony with mantra meditation
6:30 PM – Sanctified vegetarian feast
