Llandovery – singing William Williams
return to Landscapes of Faith festival journeys

We’re visiting Llandovery – it’s on the stunning Heart of Wales railway line – to discover more of the story of William Williams, enjoy the town and sing (outdoors & safely) his most famous hymn, that is sung by crowds across Wales at international rugby matches, “Bread of Heaven”!

William Williams of Pantycelyn, Llandovery became a major influence in the history of Welsh Christianity. He championed the social and spiritual vision and experiences he’d discovered and became one of Wales’ most famous hymn writers.
